DNS Servers

Most SECOM wireless or dial-up customers will not need to set their DNS servers manually.

If your internet connection to SECOM uses a static IP address (by request, or if you are a business customer with multiple public IP addresses), you will need to set at least one DNS server manually in order to access the internet. SECOM provides two DNS servers that you may use:

208.123.128.36
(NS1.SECOM.NET)
208.123.128.37
(NS2.SECOM.NET)

As an alternative for testing or other purposes, Google also provides public DNS as a free service -- use 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for Google's DNS.
